Rod started in the brokerage business with Birr Wilson in 1986 and joined A.G. Edwards in 1988.  After the A.G. Edwards merger with Wachovia/Wells Fargo he joined Stifel Nicolaus in January 2009.  Rod is married to Valerie and they have two daughters, five grandsons and one granddaughter.  His daughter Courtney joined him in his business February of 2009 and she also works in the Redding branch.  Rod is a past member/former president of Rotary West and is currently Vice President of the board of Friends of Whiskeytown.
